Our remote floating sauna merges wellness and wilderness in Tofino’s backyard. The sauna is located deep within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, home of Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation. Among the vast solitude and stillness of Clayoquot Sound, you’ll find it easy to tap into quiet here.

There is no wifi or cell service—just you and the ones you love in a protected corner of one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes on earth. Only a 30 minute boat ride away, you’ll feel like you’ve entered another world. Relax in the wood-fired cedar sauna, immerse yourself in the salty healing waters of the Pacific Ocean, and warm up by the fire.
What’s Included
Private Boat Shuttle
Travel by boat to a remote part of Clayoquot Sound, just 30 minutes from our docks, on the traditional territory of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation. On the way, pull a prawn trap with your guide.
Remote Relaxation
Relax in a one-of-a-kind floating wood-fired sauna. Take cold plunges Wim Hof-style, cool off in a dock hammock, and then stoke your fire once more as your return to the sauna.
Restore Your Mind and Body
Explore your surroundings by paddleboard or kayak, or take an icy plunge into the waters of Clayoquot Sound.
Connect with Your People
This private experience includes just you, the people you choose to bring along, and the wildlife of Tofino’s lush ecosystems.

What boat will we ride on?
We’ll welcome you aboard either BlueLine, our 31’5 Boston Whaler Pilothouse, or Reel Season, a 30’ Kingfisher Offshore. Both vessels have a comfortable cuddy and bench seating, a bathroom, and twin Mercury outboard motor to power the experience. Note that for over 8 passengers, the vessel is subject to change.

Does the guide stay with us?
No, you will be able to enjoy the sauna in complete privacy. The guide will ensure you’re set up with everything you need and then leave you to enjoy the dock. However, they will be available via radio and only a short distance away if needed.
